Glasses of eyeglasses,

To their substance they are produced eyeglasses diversify; mineral, organic and polycarbonate.

Mineral and organic glasses are separated three as white, colourful and colormatic. These glasses can be manufactured as having thinned %25, %40, and % 55.

In Turkey, polycarbonate is sold in white and as having thinned %40.
To their function eyeglasses diversify; monofocal, bifocal and multifocal. All of them are produced in white, colourful, colormatic and in different thicknesses.

Advice of a specialist and approval of the user must be considered while the glasses are chosen. Preference of frame, purpose of usage and how much money is allotted will be effective as well.
Antireflection,It means that it is against reflection. Procedure of covering the glass with a thin film layer is discovered in 1982 by Denis Taylor, an English scientist.

All transparent and bright surfaces are reflective. We see objects owing to rays they diffus. Eyeglasses and air have different refracting indexes. The glasses cause being formed reflection on the glass as reduce the passing light. Reflection causes us to see the glass in front of our face. Definition of vision decreases and imaginary vision are formed. This negativity arises from reflection and can be reduced by specific antireflection plate.

If it is looked at antireflection glass by microscope, it is seen that the bright surface disappears and it becomes rough.

Thus;

• Reflection decreases, permeability of the light increases and seeing ability advances.

• It provides contrast to apparatuses that have screen like a television or computer.

• Driving can be safer because it provides sharper vision.

• It is resistable against basic chemical solution.

• It looks aesthetic due to preventing reflection.

Mineral-Organic,

The discovery of glass was an important stage of our times, and it has been used in uncountable volumes ever since. Despite it being heavy and fragile it has served many uses. It is transparent and doesn’t attract dust, plus it is easy to clean. It is not damaged by heat or most chemical substances. It preserves its qualities and it can be coloured by manufacturers and is reasonably priced. Organic glass is an alternative material to ordinary glass made from plastic. It is lighter and stronger than normal glass. There are a few disadvantages of organic glass. It can be easily scratched and due to electrostatic attracts dust easily. It can be damaged by heat and some chemical products. When compared to mineral glass it is less transparent.

Varilux (multifocal),

Varilux optic glass is an amazing glass able to have several different strengths of glass compiled together, therefore it is able to carry out multifunction without having a definite dividing line, because of this a single pair of glasses is able to carry out the job many pairs of glasses fitted with alternative glass.

- This allows us to save time by not having to change pairs of glasses for different needs

- It is less likely that you would mislay 1 pair of glasses instead of having to carry around a few pairs

- As the glasses would stay on longer (without being changed constantly) they are less likely to break or get damaged, therefore lasting for longer

- When compared to half moon glasses, these glasses are more aesthetic and easy to use

- Due to all of these reasons, Varilux glass is actually able to be used for a number of years, therefore in the long run making it quite economic.

Some people find it hard to use and adjust to varilux glass. As the glass has multi strengths it is essential that the user learns how to use the different areas of the lenses to focus on what they need, ensuring an optimum clear vision. Where necessary we educate our customers and usually within a couple of hours the glasses are more comfortable.
